Horton brings more than 30 years experience building vehicles to a higher standard to its Horton Rescue Series. The legendary quality and performance that surround the Horton name are evident in every vehicle.

Whether it's a walk-in or a low profile walk around unit, the same attention to detail is evident in every vehicle. Flexibility of design, customization, and durability are evident in every Horton Rescue. Construction and safety features are heavily tested in an ongoing dynamic testing program. Hygee sled programs and actual destructive impact testing verify our designs, giving our customers peace of mind their vehicle will perform reliably for years without compromising the safety of those onboard.

Custom compartment design allows each Horton Rescue to function exactly to the owners' specifications. Roll-out trays, vertical dividers, bottle storage racks, tilt-down access -- it's all there to assist in locating and mounting equipment in a functional manner. Access to equipment from both sides of the vehicle is available through transverse compartments. Reels, power supplies, generators and light packages are designed into the vehicle to provide optimal performance and flexibility.

Don't just think of Horton Rescue as extrication or equipment trucks. They are also for: Firefighting Support Operations; Air and Light Truck; Personnel Rehab; Incident Command and Control; Haz-Mat Mitigation; Dive Rescue/SCUBA Support Vehicles; and Mass Casualty Supply Units. Outside the fire world, Horton Rescues build specialty police vehicles for: Riot Control; Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT); Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD); Incident Command and Control; and Surveillance.
